Role

On-site videography and content capture

This project involved working as a videographer within an Australian supercar racing team, capturing behind-the-scenes and on-track content across race weekends.

The role required operating in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment where timing, awareness and adaptability were critical. Filming needed to happen around tight schedules, limited access windows and constant movement, while still delivering usable, well-composed footage.

My Role

I was responsible for capturing video content documenting the team’s race weekends from both technical and human perspectives.

This included filming on the grid, in the garage and throughout race-day operations, working closely with the team to stay out of the way while still capturing key moments. The approach prioritised efficiency, situational awareness and respect for the environment, ensuring filming never interfered with the team’s performance.

Outcome

The resulting footage was used to support the team’s digital content and storytelling around race weekends, providing audiences with insight into the preparation, pressure and atmosphere of professional motorsport.
